Qualcomm Technologies Inc. has unveiled a new Wi-Fi chip that will usher Wi-Fi technology's future, the end-to-end 802.11ax Wi-Fi portfolio. Together with the new standard, the telecommunications equipment company also announced a pair of chips, the QCA6290 solution for client devices and the IPQ8074 system-on-chip for network infrastructure.
