The Xbox One Insiders update will be bringing back the most requested feature, which is the customized gamerpic to replace lifeless avatars. There are other additions that are noteworthy only in its entirety starting with the Captive Portal support, improved Clubs and LFG system, customizing activity feed and the Kinect auto-zoom when broadcasting.

The Xbox One update to the Early Access Insider Program does not have one defining feature but as a whole makes up substantial improvements that Xbox One users will really find useful. Top on the list is the most fan requested feature, which is the custom profile pic, Engadget reported. Xbox One crew finally relented and gave users the freedom to upload a selected gamerpic from the system itself, the PC or from a mobile device. However, uploading obscene photos are strictly discouraged as the entire Xbox Live community will be accessing the new feature, which will be in preview far longer than the others for a greater gaming experience when Creators Update is released.

Other small additions that the Xbox One Update brings is an easier access to public Wi-Fi with Xbox One finally supporting Captive Portal, which are those pop-up pages that state terms and conditions. This makes it easier for Xbox One users to log in at college campuses, hotels or restaurants. Users may also customize what appears in the activity feed with new features like pinning a post to the top, hiding some or filtering by friends, games or clubs, Game Radar has learned. This is also a good way to brag about one's Arena Tournament history or lament others' far greater achievements.

The Xbox One update also improved the Looking for Groups (LFG) system that enables users to copy an old listing to repost them. Incidentally, clubs or group administrators can also upload a customized image as well as background to their groups. Meanwhile, the update conveniently brings automatic zoom to Kinect, especially when making broadcasts using Beam or Twitch. More on the full update features may be read here.
