E3 2017 predictions will see Project Scorpio outshining the PlayStation 4 Pro to be the most powerful console as it features 4k gaming. Xbox boss Phil Spencer hints at a great lineup, indicating that there will be topnotch games that will truly show what the Xbox Scorpio is capable of.

Every month of June, the video game development community along with the press gathers in L.A. to see what the next year will offer to the video game world. Last year's E3 2016 showcased two new consoles, the Nintendo Switch and Project Scorpio.

This year, the same big players are expected to return and competing once again to grab the biggest headline. Many developers and publishers often keep their newest games and hardware a secret for a big reveal at E3, the most effective platform to introduce a new console or a new game.

Sony is expected to return to E3 to be a showstopper once again as it has been in recent years. Two years ago, the company shocked the gaming community with "Final Fantasy 7" and then last year with "Horizon: Zero Dawn." Sony even brought in Hideo Kojima, a legendary game designer.

Moreover, Nintendo Switch will be three-months by June. It will have to keep interest high by convincing buyers that it has a strong lineup of games lined up for the console.

However, this year's E3 2017 predictions is centered on Microsoft, which will most likely reveal the best games to show off what the Xbox Scorpio can do. Previously, Xbox big boss Spencer revealed that there will be no Xbox Scorpio pre-orders until games have been shown on it.

Spencer just recently answered a fan on Twitter saying that Microsoft has a great lineup for E3 2017. He also revealed that there will be more cross-play support between the Xbox One and PC.

Xbox Scorpio is due to go on sale on the holidays but it will most likely hug the limelight in E3. Spencer has often iterated that the newest Xbox major upgrade aims to bring native 4K gaming to console for the first time.

Scorpio is poised to bring a more robust gaming experience. It may even outshine PlayStation 4 Pro to be the most powerful console to date according to Game Rant.

Most likely, Microsoft will bring existing Xbox One as Scorpio patches or re-releases. Obvious titles include flagship games like "Halo 5," "Gears of War 4," and "Forza Horizon 3." Gaming analysts expect a 4K re-release of the "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" if Microsoft finally gets around to fixing it according to Tech Radar.
