"Logan" 2017 movie premieres last Friday in New York. its cast and the people behind the film franchise sends their gratitude to the fans. However, though it will surely be a hit in the box office, Hugh Jackman, as well as Sir Patrick Stewart, officially announces that this will be their last.

Why Sir Patrick Stewart Says 'I'm done too. It's all over'

Hugh Jackman already announces his departure with his Wolverine character after 17 years of portraying it. While there is still no confirmation about the other character's reprising their roles or not, another fan-favorite actor is set to say his final goodbye to the franchise.

According to Comicbook, Sir Patrick Stewart is more than ready to exit the film series. The veteran actor, who has been playing as Professor X since the beginning of the movie, has finally decided to leave his character behind.

The reason behind his decision is simply because he feels this is the "perfect" final call for him to be professor X. Stewart announces his decision on Sirius XM Town Hall. He admits feeling "so moved by it" than the first time he had been the first time of seeing "Logan" 2017 movie.

"...as I sat there I realized there will never be a better, a more perfect, a more sensitive, emotional, and beautiful way of saying au revoir to Charles Xavier than this movie," says Stewart. "So, I told [Hugh] that same evening, 'I'm done too. It's all over.'"

The same with his other interview with Kenzels (via The Independent), the 78-year-old actor describes the last minutes of the film and how it makes him feel. He reveals that both he and Hugh Jackman had big tears in their eyes as the story comes to the end.

Once again, Stewart says his final decision in his interview. He admits living with the idea of the "goodbye ending" and what could he possibly do to stop it.

"As I've lived with that idea over the past few days, I thought: 'Yeah, it's absolutely right that we should both of us just move on now.' The franchise won't die [without us]."

'Logan' 2017 Movie Premiere

As per the above-mentioned note, "Logan" premieres in New York last Friday. This the ninth and final Jackman will play as Wolverine in the "X-Men" franchise. Though this is, obviously, a bad news for every Jackman/Wolverine fans, some are convinced that maybe there is still a chance to see him in his character.

There are rumors that he might be part of "Deadpool 2", which is still unconfirmed. Not to mention, there have been actors who eventually takes back their plan on not reprising their roles. If the story is brilliantly written and the cast is amazing as the script, fans might still see Hugh as Logan/Wolverine.
