In the height of "Deadpool 2" cast speculations, Kerry Washington's name is probably one of the best news nowadays. Though some fans may disagree with this but 20th Century Fox seems to be eyeing the actress to play as Domino.

Kerry Washington Comments On Rumors, Ready To Take Domino Role?

For starters, Kerry Washington plays the role of Olivia Pope in the series called "Scandal". She has been in a lot of movies including "Django Unchained","Peeples", and the superhero movie "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer".

Speaking of superheroes, recent news dragged her name in "Deadpool 2". Though there has been no official confirmation from the bosses, Washington seems to be leading the list.

In her interview with Extra TV, she reveals her interest in playing the role of Domino. However, she also added that it is still up to the management on who they will tap to portray the fictional character, it should always be the "right person".

Moreover, as for other details regarding the possibility whether or not she will be in "Deadpool 2" cast, Washington refuses to say anything.

"I don't have anything to say about that," says Washington. "They know more than I do."

'Deadpool 2' Film Reportedly Begins Filming

Meanwhile, MovieWeb revealed that "Deadpool 2" will begin its filming on May 1. Adding on, it is set to film in Vancouver, Canada.

Based on the release, "Deadpool 2" filming date and location news comes after the movie production appears on My Entertainment World. It is said to be under the working title of "Love Machine".

Meanwhile, as for the people behind "Deadpool 2", Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are currently assigned to write the script. These two screenwriters created the first "Deadpool" film which, obviously, becomes one of the most successful Fox movies these past few years.

With regards to the film's release date, if "Deadpool 2" filming will push through this May, it will probably be slated for a 2018 release or in early 2019 premiere.
