According to his tweet, Donald Glover and James Earl Jones will join the project. Both stars are not first timers in this type of work as they already lend voices to other characters on television as well as in the movie.

For starters, Glove is known for his roles in "Atlanta" and "The Lazarus Effect." The actor is also set to appear in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" (currently in post-production). He will voice the king, Simba, who was first voiced by Matthew Broderick as the adult version.

As for Jones, this is not his first or second time working as a voice actor. He already lent his voice to Darth Vader in "Star Wars" film series. Now, he will once again reprise his role as Mufasa in "The Lion King" remake.
