James Spader reveals what is in store for his character in the upcoming "The Blacklist" winter finale. Adding on, NBC has also released the official synopsis and titles of the remaining episodes.

James Spader Talks Raymond 'Red' Reddington Character

According to his interview with the Today show, Spader hints his character's fate in this season of "The Blacklist." The actor also teases to the hosts that his character has yet to find out something big about his current situation in the series. Red knows someone is after him and he is still trying to figure out who that person is.

In the said show, Al Roker mentions Red's vulnerability which viewers have never seen before. Spader, on the other hand, admits that his character "hasn't found his firm footing list this season yet" before adding that Red knows he got his temperament right in his current situation.

However, Spader also adds, "but things are certainly at loose ends." He noted that Red is "having a sort of look in every direction" in "The Blacklist" winter finale episodes.

Moreover, the actor says that he thinks that the thing that his character "has always felt and been comfortable with the notion that the end could really arrive at any second," is that he [Red] can really sort of feel and taste it now.

On the other hand, Spader also teases that he has been thinking about "The Blacklist" three other episodes, which he clearly pointed out that those are not related to the upcoming episode that is about to air.

As for the other details about the said episode, when asked about it in his pre-interview, Spader laughingly says that he knows nothing about it as he is thinking about other episodes.

Meanwhile, though Spader did not spill any clue about the upcoming episode, here is the official synopsis (via TV Maze) for Episode 14 and 15 of "The Blacklist".

Episode 14, "The Architect": "Aram goes undercover as a hacker in order to identify a notorious criminal who for a price will design, construct and execute the perfect crime. Tom expands his search for missing details about his childhood, while Red takes action to locate the source of his compromised business operations."

Episode 15, "The Apothecary": "After being dosed with a deadly poison, Red must retrace his steps to uncover who of his closest confidants has betrayed him. Meanwhile, Liz and the Task Force desperately search for the designer of the toxin in a race against time to save Red."

"The Blacklist" Season 4 Episodes 14 and 15 air on Feb. 16 and 23 respectively.
