2016 was a great year for Microsoft due to the success of the company's Surface products. Nonetheless, the public's attention has diverted to the upcoming Surface Phone, of which there is only a few details confirmed. But while several leaks point to a powerful smartphone, Microsoft must overcome the Windows 10 Mobile issue in order to further the smartphone's success.

The Surface Phone 2017 will be a powerful handset, a device that is likely to blow away its competitors. The Surface Phone will be like holding a full-fledged PC in a person's hand. The concept is not hard to hold, as Microsoft's Surface line has really made a name by producing and introducing hybrid devices to the tech world, according to Learn Bonds.

The Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is naturally expected to run on the latest version of Windows 10 Mobile operating system. The problem is, Windows 10 is not a popular operating system for a reason, some of which were relaid by NuAns president Tetsushi Hoshikawa, Neowin reported.

Wherein, Microsoft failed to upgrade all smartphones that were then running on Windows Phone 8.1 to Windows 10 Mobile. A number of users did not receive a notification for the upgrade. Due to the slow roll out, there are only a handful of devices that actually run on Windows 10.

In spite of that, the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 reportedly will be powered by the latest Windows 10 OS and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Leaked images of the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 have confirmed a single grille speakers at the top of the handset, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The same speakers of the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 will also be present at the bottom with USB Type-C port, according to Neuro Gadget.

In addition, rumor has it that Microsoft is working round the clock to unleash the Microsoft Surface Phone before the year ends.
