iOS 10 Jailbreak Latest News & Update: Yalu iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Was Far From Perfect [VIDEO]
ByThe iOS jailbreak developer, Lucas Todesco, recently announced the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak for the Apple Jailbreaking Community, but it turns out that the crack was far from perfect. The Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak was a semi-tethered version, where only the iOS version 4-1 supported Cydia.
Although the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak appears to be the best crack for the iOS 10 series, nevertheless, the only issue with the jailbreak is that it is unstable, and Apple device users will have to re-jailbreak their gadgets once they restart their mobile devices. The Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak only works for the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the iPad Pro. Despite the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak seems to be buggy, there are several apps that can still work with the crack.
The list of apps that can still work with the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak includes PreferenceLoader, Substrate Safe mode, Cydia Substrate, AdvancedSettings8, 3D Switcher and 3D Touch. For tweaks, the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak brings the apps like Cydia Installer, Cylinder, CrashReporter and DeleteForever, according to Neurogadget.
With Apple device users hardly left with a choice, the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak will have to do at the moment. In spite of that, the well-known hacker, Stefan Esser, recently claimed that an iOS 10.2 jailbreak may be rolling out soon, Forbes reported.
Esser claims that a group of hackers is now working on an iOS 10.2 jailbreak, which should be taken lightly for now. Similar to the case of Todesco, all Apple Jailbreaking fans care about is actually seeing a jailbreak available in the public and not purely rumor.
That being the case, some tech critics claimed that iOS 10.2 jailbreak is unlikely to be out in the open anytime soon, considering the Cupertino based tech company's recent flurry of security patches ported into its latest iOS firmware update.
