The new Android Security Update has started rolling out to Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition smartphones in the U.S. It's a monthly security update that comes along with an Android security fixes for the month of December.

The Motorola Moto Z Force Android smartphone users must gear up for the new Android Security Update that has started rolling out. The Verizon Wireless made smartphone is receiving the December 1st Android Security patch. As stated by the release notes made by Motorola regarding the update, the Moto Z Force Droid will be acquiring essential security improvements, but the note did not mention the specifics of the improvements, according to GSM Arena.

Nevertheless, the Motorola Moto Z Force Droid smartphone is a device exclusive to Verizon Wireless. Given that Moto Z Force Droid smartphone is a carrier-based version, the handset is expected to receive an Android Security Patch dated Dec. 1, 2016.

On the other hand, the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 Android smartphone, also known as Moto X Force, is the next in line to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update. The Bluetooth SIG reveals that the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 has been certified to use the Android 7.0 operating system. The Android 7.0 Nougat update brings about some new features for the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 smartphone, as well as enhancing the ones currently existing, according to Phone Arena.

Some of the new features introduced by the Android 7.0 Nougat to the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 smartphone include Doze, a feature that stops the background-running apps when the handset is in its idle mode. The feature certainly helps a lot in prolonging the smartphone's standby time, as well as battery life.
