‘The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure’ Spoilers, News, Updates: Dylan O'Brien To Resume Filming In February 2017 [VIDEO]
ByAfter it was rumored that the American actor Dylan O'Brien was no longer returning to the "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" film, latest reports are now claiming that O'Brien is set to resume filming his scenes in February 2017.
The production of the film's third installment was delayed after O'Brien figured in an accident while shooting action scenes for the motion picture. Fortunately, O'Brien has now recovered from his injuries, and is gearing up to get back to work, according to Asia Starz.
O'Brien was filming a scene for "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" that required the actor to climb a vehicle in front of him, while being harnessed to the one the actor was aboard. Nevertheless, as the vehicle that harnessed O'Brien stopped ahead of the one the actor was climbing, O'Brien was dragged under the vehicle he was harnessed to. The accident caused O'Brien serious physical injuries, which includes a facial fracture, lacerations and concussions.
In related news, while fans find it hard to accept that the season 6 of "Teen Wolf" will be the last season of the American television series, some fans are still happy that O'Brien returned as Stiles Stilinski just before the TV series ends. Furthermore, recent rumors claimed that it is possible for O'Brien to be one of the major characters for a possible spinoff series of the TV show.
Fans of the series rejoiced when O'Brien's Stiles came back during the premiere of the MTV teen series, in spite of that, it has been just short-lived as the actor was immediately taken away by Ghost Rides, TV Line reported.
That being said, "Maze Runner 3" is slated to hit theaters on Jan. 12, 2018. The film will be helmed by Wes Ball and written by T.S. Nowlin.
