PlayStation gamers got their hopes up that PlayStation 5 will be released soon after Sony announced the release date of PS4 Pro in November. However, as the PS5 is coming in two years, chances are a person might regret purchasing an older version.

In comparison to the original PS4, the PlayStation 4 Pro has an advantage when it comes to software. In spite of that, PS4 Pro can't have exclusive games on its own, so all software should work on the older gaming system. Thus, video games will still be allowed to have exclusive improvements, which includes improved frame rates, better resolutions and high resolution textures.

Meanwhile, if the PS5 will launch today, the console should be based on the cloud storage. As a matter of fact, PS5 should threaten the existence of gaming consoles, Neuro Gadget reported.

Nonetheless, game enthusiasts shouldn't assume that PlayStation 5 will necessarily take the same step to its predecessors. Wherein, Sony is definitely prepared to think radically regarding the gaming system, according to Tech Radar.

On the other hand, as the PS4 Pro has been unleashed with a list of 30 video games, Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe made known the local launch date for the PlayStation 4 Pro in South Africa, which supports 4K gaming.

The PS4 Pro will be in most retail outlets or from an online retailer from Dec. 7 at a suggested retail price of R6,999. A number of PS4 games such as "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare," and "The Last of Us: Remastered," have been updated to take advantage of the increased power of PS4 Pro, Gear Burn has learned.

CEO of Ster Kinekor Entertainment, Mario Dos Santos, stated that ever since the PlayStation 4 Pro was announced, they have been overwhelmed by the demand from gamers, along with their excitement to acquire the PS4 Pro before Christmas.
