"American Horror Story Season 6" premiere will be on September 14 and yet, fans of the TV series are still left clueless as to what will be the show's team for its 6th installment. The showrunner Ryan Murphy told Hollywood Reporter that their moves for this season contributed to one goal - create a different experience for the fans.
For this matter, a collaborative effort of Murphy and Stephen Gibbons FX Marketing Head has led to the launching of six cryptic teasers that misdirect promos for the upcoming series. This has caused confusions among the fans of "American Horror Story". However, FX CEO John Landgraf hinted that one of those cryptic teasers is the real one.
Furthermore, Gibbons explained the reason behind the secrecy. According to him, the number six designates a certain meaning in the world of horror. Thus, they wanted to AHS Season 2 to appear mysterious through giving breadcrumbs with different flavors.
On the other hand, despite keeping the cast under wrapped, E! Online revealed about the other cast who will be joining the "American Horror Story" Season 6. The Glee Star Jacob Artist will be an addition to the homegrown cast of the TV series. Artist was happy to share about the news of his casting in his Instagram account with caption "Day 1" and made sure to cover the season's subtitle.
It seems like the team has taken the effort to make "American Horror Story" Season 6 as mysterious as it should be. The TV Series will premiere in September 14, 2016. The theme is expected to be revealed during the premiere night.
