"The Last Guardian" is under development in almost a decade now. October 25 and December 6 seemed to be legitimate dates for the released however, rumored said that December 6 is just a hoax. Could it be true that the "Last Guardian" will never make it to PlayStation 4 and launched in PlayStation 4 Pro instead?

The fans of "The Last Guardian" have refused to take the path of discouragement upon knowing that launching of the game in PlayStation 4 has been postponed to another date in December. They are still hopeful that December 6 is the legitimate date to end their frustrations. However, Cinema Blend hinted that December 6 will be the same as October 25. In short, delays will be expected again until 2017.

According to Wired, the spotted bugs in the final stages of development in the game are cited as the main reason for the delay. The game has been under development for nine years and that's almost a decade since its first appearance in PlayStation 3. PlayStation Blog said that delaying the game is a tough decision among the "The Last Guardian" development team as they are fast approaching major milestones.

For general information, "The Last Guardian" is not the only game that encountered delays in launching. No Man's Sky and Final Fantasy XV had their fans waiting in agony and finally put an end after the game has been released after two months. In cases like this, additional time to polish things up will always be a valid reason to justify the delay. It's just that in the case of "The Last Guardian", it is a painful one.

Another guess from Cinema Blend said that another possible reason for the delay has something to do with the unveiling of the latest PlayStation 4 Pro. Though, there are no statements related to the upgrading of "The Last Guardian" to HDR support and 4k resolution, the possibility that the game will be launch in PS4 Pro is still at large.
