Pokémon GO Tracking System: New Tracking System Is Up; Catch 3 Pokémons in 15 Minutes!
ByThe glory days of Pokemon GO players are back since the new tracking systems of the game craze are being restored by the developer of the game. Few weeks ago, Niantic shuts down all third party application and that included the tracking applications. Now that the new tracking systems are up, players claimed that they caught an average of 3 Pokémons in just 15 minutes.
Following the shutting down of the tracking applications few weeks ago, it seems like Niantic is listening to the feedback from the community and did their best to restore the removed "Nearby" tracking tool and replaced it with "Sightings" this time. A report from Forbes said that the tool actually works. It is functional and it allows the player to see nearby Pokémons. The players resorted to zero and all-three-footprint systems for the last few days in the absence of tracking tools and now they felt glad that they can already use the tools without breaking down the servers.
Since Sightings replaced the whole nearby system, according to CNET, there were some noticeable changes in it such as the little tuft of grass and the periodic changes of the list because of spawns and despawns. Basically, this tracker tells the player what Pokemon is present in the area shown in a list. However, this tracker cannot directly identify the proximity or distance of the Pokemon from the player himself.
The new system works by taking a pulse of the area every 10 seconds. The list will be refreshed by automatically display the list of available Pokémons in the area. This system still involves walking most especially when Pokémons are within 500-800 feet away. The good advantage of this tracking tool is the real time display of Pokémons in the list, like if they are not in the area they won't appear in the list. Unlike the previous tracking tool where the Pokémons stays forever.
