Rio Olympics 2016 FREE LIVE STREAM: Greece and Serbia Finished in a Tie; USA Loses to Spain in Water Polo!
ByFor the second day of the most anticipated Water Polo event in Rio Olympics 2016, Greece and Serbia finished in a tie with a score of 9 all while USA had its second loss but this time with Spain. Is there any hope for the reigning Olympic champions USA to grab the gold medal at the Water Polo tournament?
Day 2 of Water Polo event in Rio Olympics 2016 was filled with action most especially in the Game 1 where Serbia and Greece finished in a tie with a score of 9-9. According to a report from NBC Olympics, Greece led the game during the first quarter with 4-1 showing Konstantinos Flegkas strength. However, the medal favorites Serbia found their rhythm on the third quarter where they scored four goals that made the game a 7-5 matches. On the fourth quarter, the two countries exerted efforts that resulted to a dice.
On the 3rd Game of the Preliminary Rounds, USA and Spain, both loses in the match in Day 1 competed each other aiming for the win to avoid 0-2 start to the Rio Games. The goalie of Spain Gonzalo Echinique scored three goals for the opening of the first quarter and eventually helped his team to a 4-2 match. Both teams faced in a battle full of ejections but the Americans fell for the Spaniards at the end of a tough game with a score of 10-9.
Water Polo event will run from August 6 - 20, 2016 with 12 competing teams for men's division and 8 teams for women with a total player of 260 individuals (156 men, 104 women). Each country will have 26 players (13 men and 13 women). The event for the first week will be held in Maria Lenk Aquatic Centre and in Aquatics Stadium for the second week.
Water Polo will be aired simultaneously with other events in a free live stream and free telecast.
