The new Twitter iOS update allows "Peek" to preview and then "Pop" to quickly open the content.
Twitter for iOS has just received an updated version, leveled up to 6.54 update. Albeit minor updates, 3D Touch support with Peek and Pop gestures contains handy functions that matter to Apple "iPhone 6S" users.
Users can preview individual tweets, moments, accounts and links or any embedded media. When pressed further, it will pop related apps such as YouTube or Safari browser. Users can also swipe hidden options by peeking at it. Peek menu provides users with Report, Block and Mute tabs. The Peek mode can also be used to share media, MacRumors reported.

The new Twitter iOS app update as 'handy' due to the functions that can examine quickly on any media without even clicking through to it, Digital Trends reported.
The 3D Touch support offers a quick method, shortcuts, with Peek and Pop gestures that will make navigation simpler. The previous 3D Touch was only available on Quick Actions in Home screen which allows users to create new tweet, search tweet or send a DM.
Minor updates rolled on Twitter for iOS are for better user experience
It allows faster browsing experience especially for Apple "iPhone 6S" and "6S Plus" devices. This enables users to quickly view media and no longer need to wait for it to load. Twitter understands that users search for recent news through the social media platform. Six out of ten people search news on Twitter. That makes up 59 percent of respondents, Journalism reported.
Thus, the minor updates could be translated to a better user experience and faster search for any news and information.
