Samsung "Galaxy C5" and "Galaxy C7" will hit the shelves this June and the specs have been reviewed as well. Now, it is time to compare both C-series smartphones specifications.

Samsung has released it's a series and it is possible that the devices will be replaced by Galaxy C series, as reported by Digital Trends. The mid-range devices give a potentially premium and sleek design as many have revealed.

While both clearly have different size and price, there are actually some slight differences in the hardware and performance, too.

Samsung "Galaxy C5, C7" body and screen display

Both C series phones are dual SIM and offer 6.7 mm thickness. However, C7 has bigger screen display which means that it comes in heavier weight of 165 gram compared to C5 with only 143 gram. For those who are concerned with the weight, this is something to take note.

Both Samsung smartphones are enhanced with AMOLED display and the same resolutions but different in pixel density. It seems that Samsung "Galaxy C5" screen display is much better when in outdoor due to its 424 ppi pixel density whereas "Galaxy C7" only has 386 ppi.

Samsung C-Series smartphones processors

Both Galaxy C5 and C7 run on android Marshmallow with 4 GB of RAM. On the GSMArena comparison table, users can distinguish the processor specs clearly. Galaxy C5 is enhanced with Snapdragon 617 chipset whilst the C7 uses Snapdragon 625. Both have octa-core CPU type but Galaxy C7 is enhanced with higher performance on its graphics card, using Adreno 506.

Samsung "Galaxy C7" has a battery boost

Despite both series having non-removable battery, the C7 model has bigger battery of 3300 mAh than C5 phone's 2600 mAh li-ion cell. With the bigger screen and slightly higher hardware performance, it is obvious that Samsung is attaching larger battery cell.

Both C5 and C7 have 16 MP on its primary camera and 8 MP on the selfie camera. Internal storage offers two choices, 32/64 GB and expansion with MicroSD is possible up to 128 GB.

The News has learned that the new Samsung flagships will be affordable and a lot cheaper (starts around $335) than Apple's iPhone 6.

Samsung "Galaxy C5" and "Galaxy C7" will be released on June 17.
