ByLatest reports are claiming that the upcoming HTC 11 Android smartphone launches with a different moniker. The HTC 11 smartphone rolls out with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors and expected to have a new name, the HTC U.
HTC has been tight-lipped about the features, specs and the release date of its upcoming HTC 11 Android smartphone. Recent reports suggest that a new moniker will be given to the handset. When the HTC 11 smartphone will hit the shelves, the handset will be called as the HTC U, according to Venture Beat. Nonetheless, it can be recalled that HTC President made it known that the handset will not be named as HTC 11.
The HTC flagship smartphone was referred by various names in the previous months. Among the HTC 11 names include the HTC Vive, claiming that it will correspond with the virtual reality franchise of HTC called Vive. The flagship device was also named as the HTC U-Vibe in connection with the tech giant's HTC U series.
Nonetheless, HTC's new flagship device has reportedly appeared on Antutu Benchmarks revealing some of its basic specs. The HTC U is expected to come along with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor along with a 4GB of RAM and a Maximum of 6GB of RAM, Android Pure reported. The upcoming HTC smartphone may boast a 32GB of internal storage with a 64GB variant. The HTC U will be packed with a 12MP rear snapper and an 8MP selfie shooter.
Furthermore, the HTC U, which was codenamed Ocean, will also have a 5.5-inch WQHD (2,560 x 1,440) display and a microSD card slot. The upcoming HTC device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The main attraction of the HTC U Android smartphone would be its touch-sensitive metallic frame, that is dubbed as the Edge Sense. In spite of that, the HTC U handset will not be available with any physical buttons.
