The PlayStation Plus April 2017 free games already has one confirmed title, "Drawn to Death" which will be announced with five other titles for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita on March 29 for an April 4 release. As is tradition, the predicted games that may also come free starts with Ubisoft's "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" and the long-anticipated addition of a VR game that may finally happen this April.

The PlayStation Plus April 2017 free games are expected to be announced by Sony from March 28 to 29. However, Sony has broken tradition and confirmed one title "Drawn to Death" for the PS4 days before the expected official launch. This was revealed by the game developer, David Scott Jaffe, who also created the "God of War." Jaffe revealed the three years in the making of "Drawn to Death" to produce a robust and highly competitive online multiplayer shooter, Express Online reported. Interestingly, the game features a pencil sketch-like art style that was first revealed during the PSX 2014.

The third-person shooter "Drawn to Death" will be downloadable on April 4 with 5 more titles to complete the six included in the PlayStation Plus free games lineup for April 2017. There will be two each for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita respectively. Like tradition, PS gamers have been making predictions on what new titles may be added for the next month with Ubisoft's "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Seige" as a likely addition for the PS4. The 2015 first person tactical shooter has had a poor launch but then steadily had a good following that Ubisoft has made it available for a free weekend according to TwinFinite.

Other possible game additions for the PlayStation Plus April 2017 free games lineup include "Persona 4 Golden" for the PS3 and PS Vita. Doing so will further tweak interest and sales for the upcoming sequel "Persona 5" set to arrive on April 4 exclusively for the PS4 and PS3. A smaller indie game will make a plausible choice like the "ArmaGallant: Deck of Destiny," which will be arriving in American and European shores by April 7. This is just about the same week of the official release of the April free games.

Last but the most interesting predictions for the PlayStation Plus April 2017 free games lineup may finally add a VR title following the success of the PS VR in terms of sale. It is only right for Sony to reward those who purchased the unit and throwing in a VR game like Ubisoft's "Werewolves Within" would be a big boost not only in sales but for Ubisoft as well. "Werewolves Within" had a good launch but never quite picked up after and including it in the free games lineup could spark interest and expand its user base.
