"Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" may be releasing earlier than Play Asia's Dec. 31 predictions as revealed by Czech Republic retailer. Moreover, following a good review of "Skylanders: Imaginators," Crash fans are hoping that Activision will deliver on its promise of bringing brand-new adventures with the imminent success of its latest game.

"Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" Remastered Edition is scheduled by Sony to have a 2017 release date. There have been various leaks purporting earlier releases from a Brazilian gamer setting it on Feb. 28 to the latest Czech Republic retailer on June 30.

Neither date has been confirmed by Activision or Vicarious Visions, which is tasked to bring the remastered version of the 1990s popular game. Observers say that the latest leak has more credence since Activision plans to provide more details of the "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" release on E3 2017 in June.

Pending official release update on the remastered Crash, fans can now play their favorite orange creature via Activision's "Skylanders: Imaginators," the newest in the Skylanders series. The Crash Edition "Skylanders: Imaginators" Starter Pack is now available for PS3 and PS4.

The Starter Pack features Crash as one of the Life Senseis that will train the Imaginators of the Brawler Battle Class. In the Thumpin' Wumpa Islands level, there will be crash zones that feature the boulder chases that were first seen in the original PS1 game.

Moreover, the "Crash Bandicoot" supervillain Dr. Neo Cortex is also included in the Starter Pack. The arch-nemesis of Crash comes with his trademark blaster ray, hoverboard and explosive mines.

Trusted Reviews gave the newest game, "Skylanders: Imaginators" a score of 4 out of 5 stars based on its gameplay features. The mix of combat, puzzle-solving, platforming and character progression are featured significantly in the latest game. But it's most addictive feature is the ability to create and upgrade customizable Skylanders.

The review could be an indication of the growing popularity of the latest game. Activision may well deliver on its earlier pronouncements of coming up with brand-new crash adventures.

A member of the development team revealed to Express Online that they are big fans of Crash and wants to see more of the long-time PlayStation mascot. Crash fans may well expect that Activision will not only announce the "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" release date on E3, but a brand-new Crash adventure to come in the near future.
