Nintendo Switch Games Latest News & Update: ‘Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’ Bring In New Version For Game Console In April
ByFollowing the mention of “Super Smash Bros.” for the Nintendo Switch, another popular game title has been mentioned. The difference is that the game, “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” is actually official and all this goes down on April 28.
Some gamers already got a glimpse of what “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” will bring during the special preview held in New York last January. Since the game will technically be debuting as a new game version, there are some changes to expect for the Nintendo Switch version. Much of those were detailed by Forbes.
Among the new features that “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” for the Nintendo Switch will bring include new karts, a new control system, modes, and options. The new karts will be inspired by the Nintendo classic “Splatoon” (“Inkling Boy” and “Inkling Girl”) and the vehicles will reportedly be able to race on anti-gravity tracks, Engadget reported. Aside from that, there will be slight variations to player control with the new Smart Steering option. The setting can be turned on and off, something likely to provide needed aid for those having trouble behind the wheel (controller).
Other key things to expect include “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” players being allowed to hold two items at once. There will be several new modes as well such as “Battle Mode”, “Renegade Roundup”, “Balloon Battle”, “Bob-omb Blast”, “Coin Runners” and “Shine Thief”. As one can see, there are plenty to digest for the Nintendo Switch version, hopefully, something that will keep the hardcore gaming community on its feet.
From the Wii U, it will be interesting if the Nintendo Switch version of “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” will impress. Seeing the jacked up specs the game console has to offer, the expectations are high. All that should be confirmed on April 28, once the game debuts alongside the strap-on Joy Con wheel accessory. Both will be packaged and priced at $15.
