"NBA 2K17" rolled out a new roster update, led by three new player cards. George Hill of the Utah Jazz, Tim Hardaway Jr. of the Atlanta Hawks and Justin Anderson of the Philadelphia 76ers are the new faces though most hardly brought in impressive credentials.

Just the same, the three new "NBA 2K17: cards should come in handy for collectors. The cards were first reported by 2KMTCentral. With most hooked up to advancing the Collector Level, players who plan to rack in more credits and stronger cards would be wise to get hold of them. A prime target is the Kobe Bryant card which is 99 overall. "NBA 2K17" players will need to collect 2,500 cards to get hold of it.

As far as the actual "NBA 2K17" game modes, the roster update saw major tweaks to some NBA stars. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and DeMarcus Cousins lost a point in overall rating as posted on the official NBA2K Twitter account. Surprisingly, John Wall of the Washington Wizards received an additional point, making him one of the best players with a 90 overall rating.

The latest roster updates will be important to "NBA 2K17" players, particularly the ones playing the game on Season mode. The ratings could prove crucial so gamers are encouraged to go over their rosters and make the necessary changes if necessary. Alternatively, they could also work on their player's rating via the traditional training methods. This means spending more time in the gym and avoiding NPC training requests to come out with better results.

2K Sports continues to keep players busy with updates to "NBA 2K17", a move that could buy the coming of "NBA 2K18" some time. Take Two’ Visual Concepts is reported hard at work on the next installment which is slated to be out by September. "NBA 2K18" is expected to come out with versions for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch according to Forbes.
