'Stranger Things' Season 2: David Hopper Talks Jim Hopper

In David Harbour's interview with TV Guide, the actor hints Jim Hopper's changes. The character's journey will not be the same as the first season - it will be very different.

In season 2, it has been a year after the strange tragedy happened in Hawkins, Indiana. The actor previously revealed that there are some who knows what really happened but there are those who are still unaware.

Along with the time jump in the series, Harbour's character will also be changing. Hopper will likely become a newer version of himself. Unlike in season 1, he will deal with the outcome of his previous actions.

Moreover, in his interview, it seems like Hopper's story arc will somewhat touch a new journey as being the chief officer of Hawkins and as being someone who witnesses the Upside Down world. This could be a big deal for his character and could also be "a very different story" than the previous season.

Meanwhile, in terms of his own experience in "Stranger Things" season 2, Harbour admits being terrified. The actor further describes the first time he got the script for the first episode of the sequel.

"... within the first five minutes, I was on my feet going like, 'Yes! Yes!'" says Harbour. "If we do our jobs, I feel like we have a really exciting season ahead of us."

The actor pointed out the team's desire to make season 2 even better than the first season, which somewhat becomes a cult show. Ever since "Stranger Things" aired on TV, viewers from all over the world have been pouring out their support for the show.

Though the actor refuses to reveal more "Stranger Things" season 2 spoilers, but he promises that the sequel will be "rich" and "compelling."
