"Dragon Ball Super" episode 80 preview hints the return of Gohan in the fighting ring. This time, he will face one of the Trio of Dangers Lavenda. Who will win the fight?

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80: What We Know So Far

In the previous "Dragon Ball Super" episode, Basil loses to Majin Buu and next up is Son Gohan's battle against Lavenda. It is said that episode 80 will show the Saiyan having a tough time in fighting the wolf character.

At the end of episode 79, Lavenda reveals to Bergamo that he wants to kill his opponent, Gohan. Bergamo agrees with his brother's plan and says "go for it". Totally ecstatic to his idea, Lavenda is convinced that he could win the battle against the Saiyan.

Meanwhile, in the Universe 7's side, Gohan says he will be stepping the ring next. He wants his father, Goku, his strength. It has been a very long time since he had a fight and this time, he wants to show how strong he is despite the lack of practice.

On the other hand, The Great Priest pinpoints Gohan as Goku's son. This makes the Omni-Kings wonder if he is the same as his father.

Before the episode wraps up, Gohan and Lavenda are seen in the ring. Gohan is in serious aura while Lavenda is seen evilly giggling nonstop.

As per Comicbook's report, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 80 preview spoils some important scenes in Gohan and Lavenda's fight. The unhinged wolf is all prep up to his fight against the Saiyan. In Goku's voiceover, he describes Lavenda as "creepy" and is surely up to something.

As for the chances, if Son Gohan could win the fight against Lavenda, the majority of the speculations claim that this might not be the Saiyan's lucky fight. He has been focusing as a scholar these past few years following his mother's request. Though he sometimes trains with Goku, his former Z-fighter skills are not as good as before.

However, based on The Fan Day observation, the official synopsis of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 80 hints the possibility of Gohan's victory.

"The second round of the Omni-Present Match. Facing off against Universe 9's Lavenda, Gohan is sprayed in the face with poison mist and loses his eyesight. Unable to even sense his opponent's ki, Gohan is one-sidedly beaten around, but..."

As per the very last word [but...] in the episode description of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 80, it seems like though Gohan is in a tough position, chances are, he could still find ways in defeating Lavenda.

Moreover, Todd Blankenship's Twitter post also hints the changes in Gohan -- from being a scholar into turning back as a Z-fighter.
