'Outlander' Season 3: Here's What Happens To Jamie And Geneva
Speaking of Geneva, it is said (via Outlanderlists) that she and Jamie will have an unusual interaction in "Voyager" story. The two will meet in the year 1757.
Geneva is known as a demanding, headstrong lady but also a vulnerable and naive woman. She is set to marry an old man named Lord Ellesmere.
After learning the news, she asks Jamie to bed her as she will be damned if Ellesmere will get her virginity. Jamie refuses but when Geneva threatens her with a letter containing an information about the exiled Jacobite Lochiel in France, left with no choice, he agrees to meet her in her room.
The night comes, Jamie climbs up a vine to Geneva's balcony. Before doing their deal, he asks the woman to hand over the letter and they can proceed.
Geneva admits her fear as she hears not-so-good stories about sex. Though reluctant at first, she is still decided to go through with it which Jamie finds admirable.
The two spends the entire night together. At one point, Geneva declares her love to Jamie but the latter tells her that it is not love at all. Months later, Jamie learns that Geneva is pregnant. He suspects that the child could be his but tries to convince himself to not think about it.
Years passed, Geneva gives birth to a healthy baby boy but dies in the process. Lord Dunsany want to take the child to Helwater but Lord Ellesmere refuses to give his heir and threatens to kill the baby. However, Jamie successfully saves his son by gunning down Lord Ellesmere.
To the Dulsany's gratitude, Isobel helps Jamie to get released from his parole and be a freeman so he can go home. But the latter decided to stay a bit longer to stay closer to his son.
Third installment premieres in September. Stay tuned for "Outlander" season 3 spoilers and updates.
