Tech fans have been waiting for Microsoft to announce the Surface Pro 5. Fortunately, the latest leaks of the upcoming Microsoft device have surfaced online. Nonetheless, the Surface Pro 5's round-up release date, price and specs, all points to a 2017 launch.

Although Microsoft is yet to take the wraps off the Surface Pro 5, a couple of new leaks regarding the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 emerged online. First, an image of the 2-in-1 detachable tablet appears online, which is called the win10-feature-surface-pro-5-z, Win Central reported. Then, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 was mentioned on LinkedIn. Although the LinkedIn profile of Toby Fitch (Microsoft's employee) was changed, but the tech giant's product designer said that he worked on products such as the Surface Pro 5, HoloLens and Xbox.

Nevertheless, it has been said that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come along with an Intel Kaby Lake processor. While packing Intel's latest processor, the Surface Pro 5 is expected to be sold at a higher value compared to the current Surface Pro model. The price of the Surface Pro 5 is speculated to start from $899, while the Intel Core i7 model of the upcoming device will have a price tag of $999. There is also a possibility that the i7 Extreme Version of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be sold for $1500.

In related news, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 models are being offered at a $200 discount. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Intel Core m3 chip variant is now up for grabs for just $699, from its regular price $899. Meanwhile, the Surface Pro 4 with Intel Core i5, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal memory, is now available for $999, which was originally priced at $1199, according to WCCF Tech.

Discounts on the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 models could indicate the arrival of the new Microsoft Surface Pro 5.
