'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 79: 'Universe 9's Kicker Basil vs Universe 7's Majin Buu!!'

As per the promo video for "Dragon Ball Super" season 5 episode 3, Universe 7 team is set to bring Majin Buu on the ring versus Universe 9's Basil. However, it seems like the battle is just a pure game in Majin Buu's mind. This alone could get him and his team in great danger.

Majin Buu is set to face Basil who is known to have strong kicks. Both characters' personalities are somewhat similar, though; Majin Buu, with his naivety, he plays around even when he is in danger; Basil, on the other hand, is said to be known in toying his opponent before fighting in full mode. However, the difference between these two characters is the Universe 9's fighter is more serious than Buu.

As for the other details about Majin Buu's fight with Basil, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 79 spoilers hints that in the beginning of the fight, Basil immediately assaults Buu. But instead of getting hurt, Buu seems to be enjoying his time. The several attacks do not even harm the former and just lays on the ground while showing a grin on his face.

'Dragon Ball Super': What Else We Know So Far

According to Comicbook, this month, the fifth season of "Dragon Ball Super" will be all about the battle of the Universes. The official story arc synopsis says:

"At Goku's request, the Omni-Kings' "Tournament of Power" martial arts tournament between universes now begins! ...But this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. What awaits the victors of this tournament, and the vanquished...?! How will these intense team battles between the elites of each universe turn out...?!"

In this new saga, aside from Basil, Blasting News presents new faces set to appear on "Dragon Ball Super". Toei Animation reveals the name of these new characters: The KaioShin Universe 11, The KaioShin of Universe 9: Ro, God of destruction: Sidra and Zeno.
