'Bates Motel' Season 5 Premiere: Here's What To Expect In First 5 Episodes Before Feb. 20 [VIDEO]
By"Bates Motel" season 5 premiere is just around the corner. Fans will get to see yet another horrifying deaths and much darker Norman Bates in the remaining episodes of the series. [Warning: spoilers ahead].
'Bates Motel' Season 5 Episode Guide
"Bates Motel" season 5 episode 1 title "Dark Paradise" premieres on Feb. 20, Monday. Based on its official synopsis (via TV Maze), Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) tries his very best to appear fine in front of other people despite the fact that he just something really troubling. Meanwhile, a surprise guest will visit Emma (Olivia Cooke) and Dylan (Max Thieriot).
In episode 2, "The Convergence Of The Twain", fans will get to see Romero (Nestor Carbonell) reaching his very last strand as his frustrations get so much worse. Chick (Ryan Hurst), on the other hand, seems to be trying to get closer to Norman as he brings the boy a gift. And speaking of Norman, he will have his very first date, however, it will not go as planned.
In episode 3, "Bad Blood", it seems like Chick's effort will pay off as Norman decided to help the latter with a project. On a different side, Romero makes his move to avenge his wife's Norma (Vera Farmiga) death. Meanwhile, Madeleine (Isabelle McNally) tries to reach out to Norman after what happened to their date.
In episode 4, "Hidden", Norman learns who could help him keep his secret. Romero, on the other hand, finds it hard to get himself away from danger.
In episode 5, "Dreams Die First", the official synopsis says: "Norman tries to piece together Mother's movements; in Seattle, Dylan and Emma confront an ugly truth; Sam's girlfriend, Marion, makes an impulsive decision with far-reaching consequences."
Norman Bates Dies Might Die In The Finale?
According to Kerry Ehrin's interview with Entertainment Weekly, "Bates Motel" season 5 premiere picks up 18 months after Norma's death. As the story progresses, it will get darker and darker until its finale.
As for Norman's fate, he will not end up dead. The series will not end up with anyone's death. But she noted, "There are things that happen, we have a roster of characters that are gonna meet various fates. Tune in. It's gonna be a roller coaster ride."
