Marie Avgeropoulos Talks Her Character, Octavia

Octavia (Avgeropoulos) one of the fan-favorites and probably has the most devastating story arc, will have big changes in the upcoming and remaining episodes of the series. She will rediscover herself. All the pieces in her life that she tries to ignore will come in her way and reconnect her again to everyone.

In Avgeropoulos' her recent interview, the actress reveals what is in store for her character; Will she find her way back to being the old Octavia? When will she and Bellamy reunite as brothers and sisters? Will she ever move on from all the deaths and heartaches she experienced? Here are the questions Avgeropoulos tries to explain as she sits down and chats with TV Guide.

The actress explains Octavia's place in the series and based on her interview "The 100" season 4 spoilers hints twist of events when it comes to her character's fate.

Ever since the latter was introduced, she lives in a world with no clan she can call her own. But, through Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) and Grounders, she finally discovers her worth. She has since become confident and is willing to do everything and "to do what she really believes in."

However, when it comes to her loyalties, as the above-mentioned quote, Octavia is more on fighting what she truly believes is right. This season, she will learn to stand up not just for others but for herself and for what she believes in.

What Is In Store For Her This Season?

Meanwhile, when asked about Lincoln's death and to her character's relationship with the man, Avgeropoulos explains that Octavia has her way to get over with him.

"Octavia is definitely using her skill set, which is the kill or be killed mindset, to get over the grief of Lincoln," says the actress.

Moreover, she also noted that these two people have a special relationship. The actress admits that no one can replace Lincoln in Octavia's life but it does not mean she will forever hold him like nothing happened. Her character will soon meet someone but she will not let her heart get involved easily.

As for Octavia and Bellamy's relationship, the two are known to get on each other's throat. However, this season, they will finally reconnect to each other and will certainly surprise the viewers

"...there's a really interesting twist in the story where that friendship and that trust between the two siblings, who are always at rivalry, come together," says Avgeropoulos.

On the other hand, Avgeropoulos tells Entertainment Weekly that this season will be Octavia's best.

So far, the actress noted that season 4 is her favorite part for her character. Viewers will see how this character evolve from "chasing butterflies to chasing blood".
