Fans of the famous anime series "The Seven Deadly Sins" finally have some good news. The highly anticipated fantasy manga series is coming to Netflix very soon.

Netflix has listed the season 2 of the anime series for a Feb. 17 release, TV Guide reported. So far, the popular multinational entertainment company has acquired six exclusive rights to "The Seven Deadly Sins" season 2, one of which is the first season of the anime series with English subs and dubs.

Nonetheless, fans may not have been quite happy with the "The Seven Deadly Sins" season 2 announcement, as the famous streaming platform seems to have mislabeled the upcoming release. The anime series that the entertainment company claims to release next month is actually not the real season 2, but rather a bridging-season miniseries which is dubbed as Signs of Holy War. "The Seven Deadly Sins" miniseries also has been available in Japan for quite some time.

The Signs of Holy War is initially meant to be a sequel to the "The Seven Deadly Sins" season 1 in order to make the anime series in line to the manga series. Wherein, the four-episode miniseries will continue the third Princess Elizabeth's story, as well as her journey in searching the Sacred Knights to help her take back the kingdom, according to Comicbook.

In spite of that, there has been a little information about the plot of "The Seven Deadly Sins" season 2. Nevertheless, the story will seem to be focused on the old, bearded man Escanor. Escanor has a dual-personality that depends on the solar cycle.

That being said, the next release will surely be something that "The Seven Deadly Sins" fans can look forward to. The anime series is available to stream exclusively on Netflix, while the miniseries sequel is gearing up to stream on Feb. 17.
