BioWare will unveil the gameplay of the upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," during the CES 2017 in Las Vegas. With this, game enthusiasts are hyped up as the video game has not really revealed much about its gameplay mechanics in the past.

The gameplay announcement of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" comes from the official Mass Effect Twitter account. Technically, the gameplay will be shown during NVIDIA's keynote, as well as more of the game's environment, Express reported.

With fans highly anticipating the release of "Mass Effect: Andromeda," the video game company stated that the release date of the upcoming video game will be officially announced at CES 2017. Despite a March 2017 release date was heavily speculated, no official statement by neither BioWare nor Electronic Arts (EA) were released to confirm this date.

Nonetheless, as the game's trailer was shown during The Game Awards earlier this month, the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is said to be the biggest game yet. The game will also come along with a new female protagonist, new Asari member, new Krogan squad member, among other things.

The upcoming third-person shooter game was developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows. There are currently no plans to bring the forthcoming game to the Nintendo Switch for now. In spite of that, series producer Michael Gamble stated that the gamer demand will indicate whether or not the stance will change in the future, according to Game Rant.

That being said, Andromeda will be the latest installment of the Mass Effect franchise and the first video game of the series to utilize an open world environment. The story kicks off at the events after the end of the third installment.
