In a recent interview with Xbox head Phil Spencer, the Xbox boss pitched in some hints as to what game enthusiasts can expect to pay for the upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio. The Xbox Scorpio will be the tech giant's next gaming system, following the release of the Xbox One S.

Spencer also talked about the gaming company's outlook for the Xbox Scorpio. Although, only a few were known about Microsoft's most powerful console. Nonetheless, the Xbox head has finally shed light on Xbox Scorpio's price, AusGamers reported.

Spencer explains that they are aiming to strike a certain balance in the development of Xbox Scorpio that has something to do with the entertainment value. The Xbox boss further illustrates that he doesn't want game enthusiasts to see Xbox Project Scorpio as just an improvement of technicalities, but rather something that gamers can truly appreciate once the console hit the market.

Spencer wants the Xbox Scorpio to be at a console price-point, and the gaming system is not trying to compete with a high-end PC. This could mean that Xbox fans can experience a whole level of entertainment without having to spend too much.

Despite not having the exact price of the console, Spencer claims that Xbox Scorpio is for the benefit of both the players and the game developers. Wherein, the game developers know what they are working with, while gamers will have the option to think if they wish to wait for Xbox Project Scorpio, according to PC Advisor.

That being the case, the Xbox Scorpio is said to come along with 6 teraflops of power, 8 CPU cores, 320 GB memory bandwidth and the console will deliver a true 4K resolution.
