Two weeks prior to the official release of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," Fandango and other ticket outlets launch grand ticket sales and exclusive Rogue One products.

Fandango confirmed that the ticket sale will officially open on Nov. 28 at 12:01 a.m. EST. The ticketing dealer also announced that fans will have a chance to win a U-Wing model signed by the Rogue One's director himself as tickets bought will be raffled. On the other hand, Atom tickets promised to promote exclusive Rogue One products including t-shirts, hoodies, placards, etc. on its mobile ticketing portals. Pre-order tickets are already available in Netherlands and UK while U.S will start today.

Rogue One makes a lot of noise as it nears its official release on Dec. 16, wherein the film is the first stand-alone movie in the "Star Wars" saga. It can be remembered that since the "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" was released on the same week last year, fans speculated that the success of the previous "Star Wars" movie will continue to "Rogue One."

The film garnered $248 million on its first week and had a gross income of $2.07 billion globally and many expect that the first Star Wars spin-off movie can match this. After all, fans think that no other big movies will be released simultaneously with the "Rogue One," since other movies such as "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" has already been released

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is set on the Star Wars realm, but it is expected to deal with subjects which have never seen before in any Star Wars film. The movie will have Felicity Jones as its main protagonist and the story will revolve around her and other rebels' struggle to steal the Empire's Death Star weapon, which is said to be powerful enough to obliterate an entire planet.

The most anticipated movie of 2016, as per survey made by Fandango, is directed by Gareth Edwards who is also the man behind "Godzilla."
