Robbie Amell hinted his possible return as Firestorm in the next season run of the hit comic series "The Flash."
Ironically, the death of Amell in the previous episodes of the CW series seems not enough to prevent him from coming back to life again.
Amell, playing the character of Ronnie Raymond in "The Flash," shared in his interview with Comicbook.com during Heroes and Villain Fan Fest that after the death of Earth-1 Ronnie, fans can expect the appearance of a new version of Ronnie from another Earth in "The Flash" Season 3.
When asked about his possible character when he comes back in "The Flash" Season 3, Amell shared that if he were to return, he'd rather be back as Firestorm rather than Deathstorm or even a normal Ronnie would be fine too.
For those who might not have seen him before, Amell plays the role of a Meta-human Firestorm. He first sacrificed himself in order to cease the consummation of the Central City then he returned after twelve episodes in the persona of his doppelganger from Earth-2, although he was also killed shortly after by Zoom (Teddy Sears), the main antagonist of the show.
Meanwhile, the 28-year old actor also openly admitted without any sense of animosity that he has no loyalty with DC Comics. While he would always be glad to return to DC to play superhero and villain characters, he opens his doors to portraying comic characters from Marvel Cinematic Universe too, as he has always been a Marvel fan. With this, Amell might just be the first actor to break the tradition of comic artists crossing from one comic book franchise to another.
"The Flash" Season 3 continues to top charts every Tuesday, 8 p.m. on the CW.
