A new rumor spilled by Taiwan's supply chain has surfaced recently, claiming that Apple will launch a 10-inch variant of iPad Pro next year.
New variant of iPad Pro 2 will include 10.5-inch and 10.9-inch tablets?
According to the Asian supply chain, the new dimension of iPad Pro will aim at specific markets, education and enterprise. This isn't a new rumor but it does support the claim that Ming-Chi Kuo said, as the KGI Securities analyst has predicted that a 10.5-inch tablet will hit the store alongside two refreshed variants of iPad Pro.
Not without a reason, Apple's plan to introduce the new range of iPad Pro tablet is probably because the current 12.9-inch device is costly whereas the 9.7-inch is too small, DigiTimes reported.
Apple to equip 10.5-inch iPad Pro with A10X chip and quad-microphone?
The detailed report mentions an A10X chip processor that will add more punch to the device. This report corroborates Bloomberg's internal source who discussed about hardware upgrade in the tablet lineup - including advanced display technology. Furthermore, the iPad Pro 2 variants will have an improved audio quality with quad-microphones and still retain 3.5mm headphone jacks.
In addition, there will also be a bezel-less iPad coming with 10.9-inch display according to Barclay's analysts. It will be interesting to find out whether or not this edge-less screen will remove the Home button if ever it's materialized
The 2017 iPad variants will not be shipped with OLED panels as the revolutionary upgrade is scheduled for a 2018 release.
