Apple Rumor: iPad Pro 2 to Get Desktop-Class Performance; Mini Pro Makes A New Lower-End Tablet [VIDEO]
ByThe iPad family is apparently becoming the news among tech crowds. It hasn't been launched yet but the chatters and speculations from experts should give a brief update on what's to come.
Apple rumor: iPad Pro 2 gets a desktop-class performance
When Apple introduced the original iPad Pro back in 2015, Tim Cook said that it's the most capable and powerful iPad ever created. It would make sense that the next iPad Pros will surpass the predecessor in many aspects. Not just a rant, but the analysis comes from ever-accurate expert Ming-Chi Kuo, saying that Apple will reveal three variants of iPad Pro tablets, Mashable reported. Kuo's analysis indicates that the new tablets will be more professional, aiming at commercial and educational sectors.
The newest rumor from Macotakara claims that iPad Pro family will consist of a 7.9-inch, 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch devices. Macotakara is not a reputable leakster but Kuo and the Japanese blog seem to agree on one thing - three new iPad Pro devices.
A recent leak of A10X chip benchmark corroborates Kuo's speculation. The powerful chip would make iPad Pro 2 at least 80 percent faster than PC, just like Apple's claim with the original tablet. Apple will also said to aupgrade the device's battery, bringing at least 10 hours of life.
Other speculated components include four speakers, True Tone display, more-advanced Apple Pencil that will be integrated with wider app choices.
Apple rumor: iPad Mini Pro low-end specifications
The iPad Mini 5 or Mini Pro is rumored to arrive in 7.9-inch size with all the similar features found in a Pro tablet. Aside from the display technology upgrade, the Mini variant will sport A9X chip instead of A10X, marking it as a lower-end device, Neurogadget reported. Moreover, the iPad Pro tablets might still have the 3.5 mm headphone jack
Apple rumor: iPad Pro 2 and iPad Mini Pro release date
Reports suggest an early 2017 release date for iPad lineup as this year's focus is the huge overhaul in Macbook Pro 2016, which is set to be released this month.
