‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: Grey Worm Takes Over Casterly Rock; Sex Scene With Missandei ‘In The Works’
ByAside from the massive "Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers that came out early this week, more information about the highly-awaited series has surfaced particularly with respect to the filming locations.
As the cast and crew of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 moved to Almodóvar del Río Castle to shoot, many have been wondering what this location will depict in the series. According to "Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers, courtesy of Watchers on the Wall, the 8th Century Muslim castle will be the site for Highgarden, where conflict between the Tyrells' and the Lannisters' soldiers will take place.
To make it more interesting, there were reportedly extras wearing Stark costumes on set. If true, this probably means that a couple of Starks will be present during the brawl.
However, if the said castle is indeed intended to be the home turf of the Tyrells, it appears the battle will not be won by them since a photo shows a Lannister flag flying over the supposed Highgarden castle. This means Highgarden will be effectively taken over by the Lannisters in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
Another theory is that the Almodóvar del Río Castle might actually be Casterly Rock, and not Highgarden. Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm on the show, was spotted on the set which leads to another theory: Grey Worm and the army of the Unsullied will take siege over Casterly Rock. The speculated siege will not be as massive as the Battle of the Bastards in Season 6, but it is still large enough to require around 500 extras and 100 horses.
Speaking of Grey Worm, it appears the character is getting some bed room action, as per "Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers. The Independent reported that romance will blossom between Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) and Grey Worm. The relationship "will go much further than in previous seasons" and it is said that there's a "sex scene in the works."
Grey Worm and Missandei's love story had to develop sooner or later. With only 14 episodes left on the show, it was about time their relationship was taken to the next level.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to return in April next year.
