DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 has been ordered for four more episodes, bringing its total to 17 episodes for the second season. Aside from "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2, all the other DC superhero shows on The CW have been given full season orders, including "Arrow" Season 5 and "The Flash" Season 3.

When "Legends of Tomorrow" made its midseason premiere last season, it wasn't envisioned to do a full-season order, unlike "The Flash" and "Arrow" from which many of its characters are from, Deadline reported.

Despite being the lowest-rated superhero show on The CW, "Legends of Tomorrow" continues to prove itself to be a solid performer for the network, which has a younger audience compared to other networks. "Legends" has been having a healthy streak of ratings averaging 2.34 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic, Variety reported.

"Legends of Tomorrow" even improved the ratings for its current time slot (Thursday, 8 PM) by +35 percent in terms of viewership and +13 percent in the 18-49 demographic, which was previously occupied by "The Vampire Diaries" that is now on its eighth and final season.

Meanwhile, The CW has yet to order additional episodes for "Frequency" and "No Tomorrow."

In the forthcoming episode, titled "Outlaw Country," the "Legends of Tomorrow" group are still shocked by the discovery that their time-travel rival is in fact a speedster. When they arrive in the Old West, the group finds Jonah Hex in trouble with his arch-nemesis Quentin Turnbull. The group works together to stop Turnbull and his gang from reigning over the Old West and enforcing his rule of lawlessness in the territory.

"Legends of Tomorrow" stars Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Arthur Darvill, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, Amy Pemberton, Matt Letscher and Maisie Richardson-Sellers.

"Legends of Tomorrow" is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, who will also introduce "Riverdale" in the upcoming midseason lineup. "Riverdale" is an adaptation of the hit comic book series "Archie." Plus, "iZombie," "Reign," "The Originals" and "The 100 will make their return to The CW.

"Legends of Tomorrow" airs every Thursday at 8 PM on The CW.
