Android 7.0 Nougat is about to arrive on the selected handsets of Samsung, Motorola, LG, Sony and other smartphones within the year. Android 7.0 Nougat Features

Google Pixel and Pixel XL are the only smartphones that run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and will soon run the latest beta, Android 7.1 Nougat according to Digital Trends. Since the newest android operating system has many benefits to offer that are Pixel-exclusive, Google has offered the phones in premium prices.

Some of the features brought by Android 7.0 Nougat to the Pixel phones are Google Assistant, unlimited storage for photos and videos (including 4k video), Pixel launcher, Smart Storage, 24/7 Support and premium camera. In addition, another benefit of Android 7.0 Nougat update is having longer battery life which the Pixel phones are known for in the market according to Know your Mobile.

Accordingly, the Doze or also known as battery conservation feature is enhanced in the latest system update. This feature enables the users to save battery while the phone is in the pocket of purse.

Last October 20, Android 7.0 Nougat has rolled out Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and Pixel C tablet and Google announced the devices' support until 2018. On the other hand, the latest system updates are also set to rollout in the respective eligible handsets of the following manufacturers: Motorola, Samsung, LG, Sony and many others.

Android 7.0 Nougat to Non-Pixel Smartphones

Smartphone manufacturers have already made an announcement regarding the rolling out of Android 7.0 Nougat to their respective handsets. Motorola, Samsung, LG and Sony have announced that the latest system update will start rolling out to the selected handsets in December after the official released of Nougat to non-pixel smartphones as per Google's announcement.
