General Mobile 5 is a product of a Turkish manufacturer that is the first Android-One handset that runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. GM 5 is considered as one of the emerging rival of popular smartphones from other manufacturers because of its astounding features, high-quality specs and latest mobile operating system.

Android 7.0 Nougat for GM 5

Android One mid-range smartphones are considered special because of their ability to get updates directly from Google. Genera, Mobile 5 or GM 5 is the latest handset under the Android One program of Google that is said to be the first one to run the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, according to 9 to 5 Google.

GM 5 features a 5-inch screen display with 720x1280 pixels for the resolution protected with Gorilla Glass 4. At the heart of the phone lies the 2GM of RAM alongside 16GB internal storage with microSD and powered by Quad-core Snapdragon 410 that has a speed of 1.2GHz and 2500 mAh battery pack.

When it comes to connectivity, GM 5 is packed with Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11, FM Radio and Wi-Fi Direct. The camera specs include 13MP for the rear (with 4x digital zoom, dual lens and auto-focus) and 5MP for the front-facing shooter. GM 5 weighs 160g quite heavier than Pixel phone that weighs 143g; phone dimension measures 140.5 x 69.75 x 9.3 mm. The phone is available in three color variants: Space Grey, Black and Gold.

GM 5 release Date and Price

Currently, there is no information regarding the price of GM 5 but the phone will go on sale this month of November, according to GSM Arena. However, according to rumors, GM 5 is like an entry-level phone that fits the price range between $70 and $100.
