Slated to hit the market on Nov. 10, the release of PlayStation 4 Pro is only a few days away. One analyst, however, believed that the tech company might actually be better off delaying the video game machine.

As the PS4 Slim was released on Sept. 15, followed by the PlayStation VR headset on Oct. 13, and the PS4 Pro on Nov. 10, Strategy Analytics analyst Michael Goodman thinks that the Japanese tech monster might be making a mistake by releasing the machines so close together.

Too many items out on the market

Goodman stated that it is a little bit surprising, but the tech giant has a lot going on right now. Sony has a lot of irons in the fire at the moment. They have the PS4 Slim, PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation VR that are all crossing swords in the marketplace simultaneously, We Write Things reported.

Goodman also argued that having so many devices in the marketplace at the same time is actually not helping the tech company for the reason that they are splitting the consumer.

Some reports corroborated the statement of the analyst, according to iDigital Times, releasing the PlayStation 4 Pro soon could ultimately hurt the company's sales in many ways. The PS4 Pro is totally unnecessary to roll out, it could misread the competition, and it might disrupt the product that was already a huge success.

Sony's Lead System Architect, Mark Cerny, just shared some technical information about the upcoming video game machine, and is expected to discuss more about the system on Nov. 2 and 3 at a London media event, dubbed as Future of Play. The Japanese tech giant already has listed a number of video games lined up to support it at launch, according to WCCF Tech.
