Google is gearing up to debut its next-generation tablet. The search giant is also set to introduce a couple of its biggest surprises in its upcoming tablet, which comprises of an upgrade to two of the device's specifications that could notably change the direction of the tablet series.

This is probably the best time for Google to introduce these latest developments as the company has just launched its new flagship entries in the smartphone arena, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL. Aside from rejuvenating the brand, both devices have been able to persuade some users to switch brands, thanks to the devices' high-end specs.

In line with this, Google Nexus 7 2016 is rumored to come with the company's latest OS (operating system) offering, Andromeda. The company's first hybrid operating system is tipped to be a blend of Google's Android 7.0 Nougat and a slew of Chrome features. The outcome could only be advantageous for the new slate.
