One of the most anticipated phablet for 2017, OnePlus 4, is gearing up to be one of the best among its class, now that the Galaxy Note7 is out of the picture. OnePlus is known for offering high-end devices at a mid-range price.
OnePlus 4 is expected to be more powerful that its predecessors, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 2. What everyone is looking forward to is the rumored 5.5-inch AMOLED screen that will be incorporated in the OnePlus 4. Rumor has it that it may arrive with a curved 4K resolution screen display, and under its hood would be a Snapdragon 830 processor and may even feature a fingerprint scanner.
According to ApertureGames, OnePlus 4 features an 8MP front camera and 22MP rear-facing camera. It is said that the improved camera quality of OnePlus 4 could rival iPhone 7. The camera comes equipped with camera sensors including an eye sensor and an auto-focus laser. The device is also expected to come in an all aluminum body with a battery capacity between 3,500-4,000mAh.
Since OnePlus 3 has a total premium metal build for its design, the device may not look identical to the upcoming OnePlus 4 but the latter could be slimmer with much cleaner lines. Pundits are hoping that it would have bezel slimming to sport a more compact frame that is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
OnePlus 4 will carry 8GB of RAM and will feature Dual SIM capability. The device is also expected to have 128GB internal storage. According to Softmobo, the device will have variants of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB. It is also rumored that it can support wireless charging technology for its non-removable 4000mAh battery.
The device will most likely run the latest Android Nougat overlaid with OnePlus' own Oxygen Operating System. As for its price, OnePlus 4 is rumored to cost $400.
