iMac 2016 Release Date, Specs & Features: Apple Gearing Up To Unveil The Next iMac In October?

iMac 2016: When Is It Arriving?
Apple recently unveiled its latest operating system, the macOS Sierra; however, there was no sign of the ultra thin desktop during the aforementioned event, but this hasn't stopped zealous iMac fans from hazarding a guess that the AIO PC will be unveiled sometime next month. The speculation stems from recently surfaced reports that suggest Apple is gearing up for another launch event.
It can be recalled that Apple rolled out a few enhancements for the current iMac during the same time last year. The same thing is expected to happen with the purported AIO desktop, Ecumenical News reported.

Previous reports indicated that the impending iMac could pack the latest version of processors from acclaimed chipmaker Intel, dubbed the Kaby Lake, coupled with (no prizes for guessing), the macOS Sierra.
In addition, the rumored device is expected to boast an array of awe-inspiring features like an AMD (Advanced Micro Device) graphics processing unit, along with a 4K and 5K support which previously came with its precursor's 21 as well as 27-inch iterations. But that's not all, rumors are rife that the AIO from Apple will offer support for VR (virtual reality) features, according to VineReports.
Meanwhile, previous reports have indicated that Apple is currently focusing on its Pro product line from which the upcoming iMac could be donning the aforesaid moniker.
Apple continues to remain mum about it along with a slew of its other high-end devices.
There is a possibility that Apple will wait for October to take the wraps off its much lauded iMac 2016. In fact, according to Bloomberg, Mac products were never slated to be unveiled during the September 7 event, but next month will be the time for the highly anticipated Mac products to shine.
