As the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) continues to expand, the worst heroes ever will once again assembled for "Suicide Squad 2." The original film made a deliberate display at the worldwide box office by gathering a healthy $700 million.

From the success of the first movie, fans can bet a sequel is at least being considered, and if it does happen, Karen Fukuhara (who portrayed Katana) is up for it.

During the "Suicide Squad" panel at the Rose City Comic Con, the American actress Fukuhara shared what she would like to see further explored in a potential sequel, according to Comic Book.

Fukuhara stated about the possibility of reprising the role, the actress said that she would love to. Fukuhara also said that for the first film, she thinks they did a really good job of showing snippets of each character's past and history, but it was just a glimpse. For the "Suicide Squad" sequel, she would like to make a prominent exhibition of her relationship with Soultaker, her sword, as well as her relationship with her husband and explore about her past.

While Fukuhara was expressing her desire for more of Katana, the actress also admired her cohorts, applauding the leadership of Will Smith and saying that Margot Robbie lived and breathed the character Harley Quinn, Screen Rant reported.

The actress also discussed the veil of secrecy surrounding the anti-hero adventure. Fukura stated that she wasn't informed about American actor Ezra Miller portraying The Flash and she didn't even know what her role was until after she landed it.

Anyway, while no official "Suicide Squad" sequel release date has been confirmed, American film director David Ayer let slip recently that Warner Bros. plan to begin developing the "Suicide Squad 2" in 2017, based on the report of Movie Pilot.

It is speculated that the majority of the cast will rejoin the "Suicide Squad" sequel.
