PlayStation 4 Pro News & Update: Here's How To Decide If PlayStation 4 Pro Is Right For You
BySony has finally revealed the PlayStation 4 Pro in a stand alone event in Times Square. But, PS4 owners have lack of conviction in purchasing the latest PlayStation console.
Most gamers decided not to upgrade to the $399 PlayStation 4 Pro when it hit the market on November 10 just to play the latest video games. As game discs and downloads coming in the future will be compatible with all of the models of PlayStation 4.
The graphics on the PlayStation 4 already look pretty good without an upgrade, in which graphics aren't everything in the console, based on the report of Wired.
PlayStation 4 owners won't miss out on any content if they decided not to purchase PS4 Pro. As it has been claimed that it will look at least somewhat nicer, but Sony made it known that they will continue to support both models.
The tech company also publicized the fact that PlayStation 4 Pro would work with High Dynamic Range TV sets, but then they claimed that the existing PS4 would also support HDR after a firmware upgrade. So, a person won't need PS4 Pro to delight in HDR gaming.
Sony also stated that the new console isn't meant to be next-generation gaming, but it's a response to a slight change in display technology. The new 4K type of games will look better, but the play is identical, according to TIME.
So gamers can ignore Sony's statement that claimed if a gamer wants to be at the forefront of innovation, PS4 Pro is the perfect device for them. Visually innovative, but it's reasonable to assume that the majority of the gamers no longer thinks of innovation as merely visual these days.
However, some tech experts would rather wait and see how the Project Scorpio of Microsoft shakes out. They believed that gamers will be in a better position to benefit from the console's upgrade, Engadget reported.
