Microsoft Surface Book, Pro 4 News & Update: 15% Price Discount For Refurbished Units; Surface Book 2 Launch In 2017
ByFor Tech fans who have long wanted a Surface Pro 4 or even Microsoft Surface Book, now is the right time to purchase one. Microsoft is giving people a huge discount for refurbished devices where each carries up to 15% discounts.
The obvious catch here is that Surface Pro 4 and Microsoft Surface Book are refurbished units. Even though these devices are technically not brand new, but they are good as new. Some people may be cautious on that note, but if a person wants decent savings, this is the best deal they will consider for now.
Surface Pro 4 and Microsoft Surface Book allow potential buyers to have a big discount depending on the configuration of their choice. The tech company's discounts cover Surface Book that is packed with a Core i7 processor, 16 gigabyte of RAM and 512 gigabyte of internal storage.
For instance, the base model of the Microsoft Surface Book that features a Core i5, 8 gigabyte of RAM and 128 gigabyte of storage now only costs $1,274 from the original price of $1,499, based on the report of Game N' Guide.
For the Surface Pro 4, people will get one for just $764 from the original price $899, the configurations include a Core M3 processor, 4 gigabyte of RAM and 128 gigabyte of storage.
On the other hand, Microsoft launched last year their first laptop, the Surface Book, unfortunately if tech fans were hoping to see the machine's successor this year, they might be disappointed as new rumors have claimed that Surface Book 2 will most likely be launched in 2017, according to Ubergizmo.
But, as the Lumia phone series have been dropped out by multiple rumors, this could indicate that Surface Book 2 will be launched in early 2017, iTech Post reported.
Anyway, rumor has it that the decision of Microsoft to revamp Surface Book 2's design is the reason behind the delay.
