Blizzard Entertainment Launched Blizzard Live Streaming on Facebook With Just A Single Click
ByBlizzard Entertainment has unleashed the Blizzard Streaming, which is a new feature of Battle.net that integrates live game streaming directly through Facebook with just a single click. This feature is the result of a collaboration between the two companies.
The Blizzard Streaming was first announced a couple of months ago, in which it allows gamers to broadcast through Facebook Live while they are playing Blizzard games on their PC. As the gamer's friends will be able to witness the live-streamed footage, they are also allowed to post their comments in real time.
The streams focused on video games like "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft," "Heroes of the Storm," "Overwatch," "World of Warcraft," as well as "Starcraft 2" and the action role-playing "Diablo 3," according to Tech Times.
Those individuals who updated their Battle.net client will see a camera icon in the upper right corner beside their username. Once users link their Blizzard account to their Facebook profile, players will be able to stream live gameplay directly to the largest social media network instantly, Polygon reported.
In the press release issued by Blizzard Streaming, it stated that they are empowering gamers around the globe to link and share their gaming experiences to Facebook. Blizzard Streaming is now live in the United States, Southeast Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand, and the global access will come soon.
The American video game developer made it known that they collaborated with Facebook to give their players an easy access to go live by streaming their gameplay on the famous social network. Blizzard Streaming supports webcam and microphone usage, and setup is just a press of a button, based on the report of PC Mag.
Blizzard Streaming only works for PC gamers for now, but it will make its way for Mac users at some point in the future.
