Google Nexus 2016 codenamed Sailfish may have been all over the web but the recent exclusive image leak might confirm all the rants.

The image of what is believed to be Sailfish shows a black color smartphone without Google logo. Android Police said that it would have the G logo once everything is set. Furthermore, it is also speculated as the smaller variant of Google Nexus phone. The larger one, which is not present in the photo, is said to be HTC Marlin.

Looking into the details of HTC Sailfish chassis design

The image shows nicely round edges. The all-metal chassis seems to have a slim and sleek design. The rumors have been circling around the similar design for both HTC Nexus Phone 2016. This means that Marlin could have the similar chassis but with a few differences on battery capacity, screen size and dimensions.

Before this picture went viral, someone leaked a grainy photo on Twitter and confirm that the smartphone in a lady's hands are the 2016 HTC Nexus which described as 'a cross between the Nexus 4 and iPhone with glass and fingerprint on the back', Pocket-Lint reported.

HTC Sailfish specs have also been heavily speculated especially after its appearance on AnTuTu benchmark. Google Nexus phone codenamed Sailfish will have 5 inch display and 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution. It will also use Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 4 GB of RAM and run Android Nougat. The camera will sport 13 MP lens for its rear and 8MP shooter for the selfie camera.
